CNN anchor Antonio Gandy said Thursday he believes former President Barack Obama would be “honored” to run for president again.

Gandy, a Fox News contributor, made the comments during an appearance on CNN’s “The Lead.”

“I think that the Obama administration would be proud of that, I think the president would be honored,” Gandy told host Jake Tapper.

“And I think that a lot of people in the administration would love that,” he added.

“The only question is what would it be about, and what would he bring to it?”

Asked if he could run for the Republican nomination, Gandy responded: “No, I can’t run for anything.

I can run for nothing, so I’m not going to do that.”CNN anchor Ana Navarro asked him if the GOP would have the votes to defeat him if he were to run again, and Gandy replied, “Well, I don’t know.

I don’ know if the Republicans have the vote.””

There are people who are in the House of Representatives who are not going into the next election and they want to see that the president is held accountable,” he said.

Gamboa also said he was concerned that Trump’s comments regarding the media could have a negative effect on the GOP in 2018.

“We have a president who has shown himself to be a very hostile, racist, misogynistic, sexist, homophobic president, and the Republicans need to start addressing that,” Gamboa said.

“I would like to see a lot more of a focus on those things.

But I don”t know if that is a question of what is going to happen in 2020 or 2020, but certainly what is the way forward going forward in 2020.”
