English cardholder who is in the UK and lives in another EU country and can show valid work and/or study visas (including those issued to British citizens) will be able to apply online to apply to be able access the Amex Platinum Card.
This card, available from the UK-based Barclaycard and the US-based American Express, allows British residents to travel to the UK for up to 90 days.
British citizens living in the US and Canada will be required to have a valid work visa.

English Cardholder who has a UK employer who provides a British-based company with a service (including, for example, the provision of a customer support, online chat, or phone service) can apply online for the Gold Card by visiting the BarclayCard website and logging in.
If a UK employee works for a UK-related company in the EU and their work is not directly related to the provision or administration of the UK’s services, they can apply to the Gold card by visiting Barclay.com.

The UK-focused American Express Platinum Card, available for UK customers, allows the use of British-owned credit cards in the United States, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
American Express offers a Gold Card, which can be used in the USA and Canada.
A cardholder will need to have UK-issued work and study visas and a UK resident to apply.
A UK cardholder is eligible for the card if they: work in the U.K. for at least 6 months in any year, have a UK spouse or civil partner who is eligible to work in a UK company and their spouse or partner is a UK citizen or permanent resident; or
