04/05/2016 08:57:43When we get the Champions’ League Final on the calendar it will be during the following year, but that will depend on the circumstances of the tournament.
At the moment, the calendar states the last-16 will be played in 2020.
However, that would have to be pushed back for 2021 and 2022 to coincide with the Champions World Cup, which is currently being played.
The calendar is not completely clear on when the next Champions League final will be held, with the tournament being held in the middle of the year, the UEFA-led competition being played in late March and the final coming in April.
It is not yet known how the tournament will be organised.
The format will also be subject to debate, with FIFA’s president Gianni Infantino reportedly wanting a knockout stage and the group stages being played, with group stages not being played for some years.
In terms of the future of the Champions Cup, it is unclear if it will even continue.
The tournament has been a fixture of European football for more than 40 years, with European football’s governing body UEFA, which holds the trophy, having been involved in organising it since 1999.
However, in 2012 UEFA banned the event and, while the European Football Championship has been played in Russia, it has never been played before.
The governing body has also proposed the elimination of the competition.
