Golden Harvest Brewery, a Golden Road Brewery, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Golden Harvest co-owner and brewery co-founder Mark D’Agostino said the anniversary is bittersweet for the community.
“We started with a passion, and we built that passion into the business,” D’Aguostino told ABC News.
“We’re trying to do something to make our community proud.
And to have that in the air is very exciting for us.”
The golden harvest celebration, which is held at the Golden Road brewery in Portland, Oregon, is the largest in the United States.
The celebration takes place annually on November 10.
The Golden Road, a local brewery, is based in the town of Orono.
It started as a small brewery with a small staff of three employees in the early 1980s.
Golden Road now employs around 40 people, and is one of the largest brewers in Oregon.
The golden harvesting event, which was held on November 11, 2016, features a number of beer-themed activities, including a beer tasting, live music, a craft beer garden, a food truck, a live-music concert and a food-tasting event.ABC News’ Mike Kostis contributed to this report.
